It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

American Boeing 737-800 N909NN / 2014.07.02

LAX (Los Angeles International airport. Los Angeles, United States)
I bet if you stay at the Custom House hotel by LAX you get a pretty nice view of the landing operations at the airport. But my spot at the opposite angle was not bad at all either. American Airlines Boeing 737-800 N909NN caught here already above the threshold markings.
