When you spot around FLL, chances are you will see an Azul aircraft sitting at the same place during most of the day. However, this was a nice surprise that particular Tuesday. Azul-Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras Airbus 330-200 PR-AIU ('Red, White and Azul') sports the appealing Azul Viagens paint scheme while waiting on the tarmac for the flight back home later that day. ✈

Although this picture was taken a little over five years ago, the only thing changing may be the Iberia airplanes tails, with the new livery. The distinctive North Control Tower at Barajas airport remains like seen here. It opened on October 31 1998 and is 233 feet (71 meters) high. ✈

I was thrilled the moment I realized we were going to board the airplane on the ramp, in the middle of a snowstorm… So Russia! Great and unforgettable moment. I got lots of pictures and unusual angles like this one of the fore part of the aircraft. Simply awesome.
