Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

Eastern Boeing 737-800 N277EA / 2016.01.23

MIA (Miami International airport / Wilcox Field. Miami, United States)
So glad to see these classic colors around again. Wish it could be the case with other gone airlines. Eastern Air Lines Boeing 737-800 N277EA was originally delivered to Brazilian GOL in 2001 as PR-GOJ, then flew for AeroMéxico (2010-2015) as N359AM before she found a new life with the revived current operator.

Singapore Boeing 777-300 9V-SYG / 2014.10.20

SIN (Changi airport. Singapore)
I found the 'O' of the 'Singapore Airlines' tittle on this Boeing 777-300 a little awkward because it appeared out of place, so I decided to document it. I've checked pictures of 9V-SYG taken after I captured this one and the issue seems to have been fixed.

BLI (Bellingham International airport. Bellingham, United States)
Blast from the Past / Boarding Time Photo Op.— On my way from YVR (Vancouver) to PDX (Portland), my flight made an interesting scheduled stop at BLI (Bellingham), which allowed me to wander around the tarmac and take a few pictures, since security concerns were very low at that time. This one is actually the last picture I took before I boarded the aircraft. A very exciting day for me.
