Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

This one came way behind schedule and, on top of that, found some heavy rain the moment she was already next for landing, so had to perform a turnaround and I needed to wait another 10 minutes or so to get it on camera, this time with much less light. Didn't look bad after all, to be my first of Volga-Dnepr Airlines (Авиакомпания Волга-Днепр) aircraft. Antonov An-124/100 RA-82044, inbound from CAY (Cayenne) as Flight VI2647.
