Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

LOT Boeing 787-8 SP-LRF / 2015.06.20

MIA (Miami International airport. Miami, United States)
Air Europa provides for the only nonstop link between Europe and MIA (Miami) on a Dreamliner, although it has to wet lease the aircraft from LOT Polish Airlines (Polskie Linie Lotnicze) for the time being until the Spanish carrier gets its own ones, hence the Air Europa sticker on the rear fuselage. Boeing 787-8 SP-LRF ('Franek') seen just a few minutes ago, about to wrap up Flight UX097 from MAD (Madrid) around 30 minutes behind schedule. This route operates six times a week and will add its seventh weekly flight this coming Tuesday, just in time for the busy Summer travel season. This was the second Dreamliner delivered to LOT, in April 2014.

This aircraft has previously flown for Alitalia and TAM, and it's seen here inbound from VVI (Santa Cruz de la Sierra Viru Viru airport) as Flight OB766.
