Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

Iran Air Boeing 747SP EP-IAC / 2016.02.27

KUL (Kuala Lumpur International airport. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
Iran Air (هواپیمايی جمهوری اسلامی ایران) Boeing 747SP EP-IAC ('خلیج فارس', or 'Persian Gulf') remains the only aircraft of this type in the world still operating scheduled flights. She was delivered to the Iranian carrier brand new in May 1977, and with her almost 39 years of service, is still in pretty good shape, although will be retired soon. Seen here taxiing to the gate just after arrival from IKA (Tehran Iman Khomeini) as Flight IR814.
