Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

Lufthansa Airbus 380-800 D-AIMI / 2016.04.10

MIA (Miami International airport / Wilcox Field. Miami, United States)
<Action Shot>
...And touch down! A smokey one, as usual for the huge A-380. Lufthansa Airbus 380-800 D-AIMI ('Berlin') completing the flight from FRA (Frankfurt) as LH462. This was the ninth of the type for the airline and on May 22 2012 she made a special trip to TXL (Berlin Tegel) to be officially named 'Berlin' in a ceremony by the mayor of the German capital. Kind of cool... When there is money to spend you can do awesome stuff.
