This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

British Airways Concorde G-BOAD holds the fastest Atlantic crossing by any commercial aircraft in airline history. On February 7, 1996, the flight JFK (New York Kennedy)-LHR (London Heathrow) was completed in 2 hours, 52 minutes and 59 seconds. She first flew on August 25, 1976 and retired on November 26, 2003. On October 20, 2008 she was set on display at the Intrepid Museum In New York City, where she remains on loan from British Airways.
