Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

PIA Airbus 310-300 AP-BDZ / 2013.02.12

AMS (Schiphol airport. Amsterdam, Netherlands)
<Airport Action>
Just right after push back, Pakistan International Airlines -PIA- (اکستان انٹرنیشنل ایئر لائنز‎ -پیآئیاے‎-) Airbus 310-300 AP-BDZ ('Hyderabad-City of Perfume') gets ready to taxi ahead of her flight back home. This aircraft faithfully and uninterruptedly served the carrier from June 1991 until May 2014, when she was retired from service. Glad I caught her 15 months prior to her retirement.
