Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

KLM Boeing 747-400M PH-BFT / 2014.10.07

PEK (Capital International airport. Beijing, China)
KLM Boeing 747-400M PH-BFT ('City of Tokyo') rotating for AMS (Amsterdam) as Flight KL898. A closer look shows this aircraft was in need of a new paint job. Well, just a few weeks after I took this picture, PH-BFT was the first KLM B-747 to wear the revised livery of the Dutch carrier.
