Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

Air Canada Boeing 767-300/ER C-GHPD / 2010.06.24

BCN-YYZ—Flight AC815, Barcelona-Toronto (Lester B. Pearson)
Approaching YYZ (Toronto Lester B. Pearson) after crossing the Atlantic, on a clear day you can get a perfect view of Downtown Toronto, including YTZ (Billy Bishop Toronto Island) and the CN Tower from the right side of the plane. It is worth saying that, at 553.33 meter (1,815.4 feet) high, the tower was the world's tallest free-standing structure and the world's tallest tower for 34 years right until that same 2010. Seen from seat 35K on board Air Canada Boeing 767-300/ER C-GHPD.
