Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

Iberia Boeing 747-200 EC-DIB / 1988.09.08

BCN (El Prat airport. Barcelona, Spain)
Boarding Time Photo Op.— Blast from the past! This was a special flight to take the Spanish delegation (athletes, officials and journalists) to the Seoul Olympic Games, via Alaska. Years later, this aircraft was actually the last 747-200 operated by the company. So glad of having been a little part in the history of this beauty. (Scanned from print copy).
