Tayara means 'airplane' in Arabic.

This blog is about airplanes and anything that involves them.

It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

During my travels around the world I take pictures and video as a hobby of everything and anything related. I also include some acquaintances’ contributions from time to time, giving them proper credit.

Please, feel free to comment or suggest on my posts.

Austrian Fokker 100 OE-LVJ / 2016.03.13

ARN (Arlanda airport. Stockholm, Sweden)
Austrian Airlines Fokker 100 OE-LVJ ('Bratislava') on short finals after the flight from VIE (Vienna). This aircraft first flew for American Airlines in 1991 as N1406A and joined the Austrian Airlines family in 2003 with the current registration, although she briefly operated for defunct Jetsgo in 2005 as C-GKZE until the Canadian Low-cost ceased operations, just a few weeks after she joined the carrier.
