It is mostly about Commercial Aviation, but also General and, occasionally, Military.

<Military Break / Blast From the Past>
In August 1992, Somalia was in the midst of a Civil War that left its population stranded and with no access to basic goods. As part of a multinational United Nations emergency plan called Operation Provide Relief, the United States deployed 18 Hercules C-130 to MBA (Mombasa) in neighboring Kenya, from where humanitarian aid was airlifted to remote Somali areas. This was one of those aircraft, 0948 314AW, seen here arriving from MBA on the third sortie of that particular day. ✈
